Real tools, real wood, real projects. The morning is spent in the studio measuring, sawing, sanding, and hammering — children plan what they want to build, then work out how to make it hold together. It takes focus and a steady hand, and the results are theirs. After lunch we walk to King George Park for an afternoon outside, with games, exploring, and room to run. Projects go home at the end of the day.
Please pack: lunch, water bottle, sunhat or baseball hat, closed-toe shoes (required for the workshop), and clothes for the weather.
Tools and safety: Children use real tools with close supervision and safety gear. Every child gets a lesson on safe handling before starting.
