Get into the Christmas spirit with a day full of creativity, imagination, and hands-on clay fun!

In the morning, children will create their own Christmas ornaments using air-dry clay. They’ll

shape, mould, and decorate their ornaments with festive details, colours, and patterns, creating

special keepsakes to take home and hang on the Christmas tree.

In the afternoon, we’ll dive deeper into the world of clay! Children will explore different ways to

work with clay and learn how to make their own clay cutters using wire and sticks. They’ll

practise rolling, patting, and shaping the clay before creating adorable gingerbread people and

festive snowflake magnets.

By the end of the day, each child will have a collection of handmade Christmas creations to

bring home and enjoy!

Please pack: Lunch, water bottle, and comfortable clothes suitable for getting creative.

Note: All materials will be provided. We use air-dry clay, so no kiln or baking is needed.

Children will make and decorate their own clay creations by hand.

The whole day smells like ginger. We head downtown in the morning to see the gingerbread display — dozens of houses built by bakers and designers, each one different, with details children will spot that adults walk right past. Back at the studio after lunch, everyone builds their own: walls first, then the roof, then as much candy as the house can hold. Children take their houses home at the end of the day, with a warning about how fragile they are.

Please pack: lunch, water bottle, and warm layers for the trip downtown.

Flour everywhere, and that's the point! The morning is spent baking — measuring, mixing, rolling, and cutting Christmas cookies, then decorating them once they've cooled. Children will bring home a small box of cookies. After lunch we settle in for a movie afternoon with blankets, low lights, and cookies to share. A slow, warm end to the day.

Please pack: lunch, water bottle, and a blanket or pillow for the afternoon. PJ’s are welcome today!

A day filled with warmth, creativity, and a little handmade magic!

In the morning, children will discover the simple joy of making their own beeswax candles.

They’ll roll their candles by hand, warming the beeswax sheets between their palms until the

wax softens enough to shape and roll. As the children work, the studio will fill with the lovely,

natural scent of honey. Each child will create their own candles to take home and enjoy.

In the afternoon, we’ll turn our attention to clay and explore the magic of light in a different way.

Children will learn to shape, pinch, press, and mould clay to create their own little lanterns. They

can experiment with textures and patterns, adding their own creative details to make each

lantern unique.

By the end of the day, children will take home their handmade beeswax candles and clay

lanterns, little treasures made with their own hands!

Note: All materials will be provided. Beeswax candles are made by hand using rolled beeswax

sheets, with no melted wax or open flames in the studio. Clay lanterns will be made using air-

dry clay.

Get ready for a day of gooey fun, colourful experiments, and magical winter discoveries!

In the morning, children will become little slime scientists as they create their very own fluffy

snow slime! They’ll mix, stretch, squish, and experiment with different ingredients to create soft,

fluffy, snow-inspired slime. Each child will get to explore different textures and enjoy the

satisfying fun of making slime from scratch.

In the afternoon, we’ll step into our Potion Lab for some colourful science magic! Children will

mix different ingredients to create bubbling reactions, watch colours fizz and transform, and

discover the exciting science behind their little experiments.

To finish the day, everyone will decorate their own take-home slime container, giving their fluffy

creation a special home to travel in!

A day of hands-on science, sensory play, and creative fun with plenty of magical surprises

along the way!
