About Summer Daycamps

Registration Information Coming Soon!

Current Students Registration begins March 12.

Public Registration opens March 21.

In order to save parents from paying payment processing fees, we accept only e-transfers for fee payments. As such, when you register and check out your cart, the receipt will show 0.00 under payment owed. THIS IS NOT CORRECT and is a limitation of the online system.

Payment due at time of registration is 50% of the total daycamp fees. The remaining 50% is due on or prior to June 1. Please refer to your confirmation email or to the camp week details (below) for the cost per week and how to send your e-transfer.

  • Children must be in K - Grade 6 to register in our programs. This means that your child has ALREADY begun attending Kindergarten. We are unable to accept children who have not yet started elementary school.

  • We operate 8:00 - 4:00.

  • The only difference between the programs is drop-off and pick up location.

The Sandpiper program has drop offs and pick ups at our field trip location area - eliminating most of the need to take public transit.

The Heron location drops off and picks up each day at the Heron School Aged Care program at Mitchell Elementary. There are a few exceptions for field trips where you will need to pick up your child from the field trip location - these are all clearly indicated on our Daycamp calendar and on the registration page.

  • We charge 300.00 / week, with two exceptions:

For the first week July 2 & 3, the fee is 120.00.

For the week of August 4 - 7, the fee is 240.00.

At the time of registration, 50% of the fees are due and payable. Once you have added the daycamp weeks to your cart and have checked out, you will be reminded to send payment via e-transfer to payment@ssocc.ca.

The remaining 50% of fees are due and payable on June 1. Families who do not pay the remaining fees will be un-enrolled from the camp and will forfeit the fees paid up to that point.

  • Yes, we accept ACCB. If you are a family receiving ACCB, please contact Randi at registration@ssocc.ca, as your tuition fees for the month will need to be calculated with your ACCB payment deducted.

  • At the time of registration, 50% of the fees are due and payable.

Any withdrawals prior to June 1 will result in a refund of 50% of the amount paid.

Any withdrawals after June 1st will result in no refund.

Written withdrawal notices must be provided by email to registration@ssocc.ca.

The registration manager, Randi, will confirm receipt of withdrawal notice within 5 working days. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact the office to ensure your notice was received.
